America Good to Guam (con't)
What does this mean? The enemies of America
showed bitterness and
hatred towards her. Yet, God
made her strong militarily. God bestowed
power to
her from the day that she was born. America is the most
power-
ful nation in the world today. God blessed America
with good weather as
well as wealth from beneath its soil. She
is blessed with population growth.
A nation that does not
and cannot keep its population ongoing is a nation that
will ultimately succumb to its enemies. America is God’s
birthright nation. One
will have to read the biblical source
to understand and know this truth. However,
it is God’s
choice upon whose men’s eyes will perceive, whose ears
will hear, and
whose understand.
Many people on the island have a limited concept of the living God.
Most are not
conscious that the Lord is alive and is as real as the air we
breathe. Our people are
too busy with matters other than that which really matters…a spiritual life. Oh sure,
Sunday is the day to go to church, yet it is
not to worship God. People go to fulfill an obligation…nothing more. I am
sure I will be judged as being judgmental, yet I can
honestly say that of the
many Chamorros that I know, few converse about the living God.
Blame is not to be placed on church congregants for not understanding and knowing God.
The blame is in the Catholic and Protestant clergy, its teachings, and traditions of the
church. Chapter 7 of the Book of Mark says,
“Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.”
