Hosea and Guam

Our beautiful island of Guam is going through tough times. We are
experiencing alcohol, drug, political and sexual abuse, thievery,
low-level education, and numerous other problems that we seldom
hear of see back in the 50’ and 60s. Are we as a culture concerned about
the problems we are currently experiencing?

The Book of Hosea 4 says:

v. 1 - “Hear the word of the Lord, you children
of Israel, for the Lord brings a charge—a legal
complaint— against the inhabitants of the land:"

Does this sound like our island? The term “Children of Israel” does not necessarily
mean that they are only the people that are in Jerusalem and the surrounding land.
Jacob’s 12 tribes are referred to as, The Children of Israel.  Scripture has also referred
to the 10 Northern Tribes during the time of King David as The House of Israel and the
three southern tribes as The House of Judah commonly known, then, as the Jews.

Jacob’s children are known as Children of Israel. When they settled in the land of
Canaan, ten settled in the northern section and were called the House [not children] of
Israel.  In the southern section, 1three were called The House of Judah. MOST Christians
do not know this fact.

Guam’s historical background is a combination of taotao-mo’na and Spain. Spaniards are historically part of the ten northern tribes of ancient Israel. A book called Great Britain and Israel in Prophesy explains that fact.

He says...

        v. 1 - “There is no truth or mercy or knowledge of God in the land.”
