Hosea and Guam (con't)
Verse 4:
“Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another;
for thy people are as they that strive with the
priest.”
To strive is to quarrel, complain, or sue and reprove is to
judge, rebuke, or convict. We are quarrelers with chief
rulers. We should not struggle nor should we fight
others forcefully. We are the way we are today because
we struggle with God—the Messiah.
In case you are wondering what the book of Hosea has to
do with Guam, it is easy to explain: The House of Israel,
historically, is the Western Civilization. The United States
and England are the birthright nations. The term “Children of
Israel” , not, “The House of Israel”,
historically means that it is Western
Europe. That being a fact and we being of a Spanish background, Hosea is speaking to Guamanians as well.
Selah: Think about that
