Are We in the "Last Hour?"

1 John 2:18 reads: “Children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that
antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come; therefore we know
that it is the last hour.” The King James Version uses the word "time" as
opposed to"hour" —which is the word being used by John then.

"The phrase "last hour" (Greek: eschatos
hora) is used only in John's epistles.
Christ likely talked about this at length
with John. However, He didn't want
John to know the time frame until a few
years later, when the book of Revelation was
revealed."

September 11, 2001—the terrorist attack on the U.S.— was the fact that we entered the “last hour.” It was the worst terrorist attack on the U.S. From that day onward, the world has been moving so negatively towards terrible destruction of the earth. Really, commons sense should accept this as a fact for as we read what’s going on in the world that worldly events are not towards peace.

Many (I am sure) think that the term “last hour” used in John’s writing makes the bible incorrect today for it should have occurred then. With scary world events today, it is more obvious that it is just around the corner.

Hezbollah commented that they have around 80,000 rockets that will head towards Israel should Israel begin the attack. What do you think the U.S. and EU will do when this happens? Get mad at Israel or will we attack Hezbollah and their backers?

When this begins, will peace find its way into the world? No! World War III will begin. The problem is that with the multiplicity of the Atomic World, if Jesus does not return on time, the world and all human lives will end.
