Modern Day Thinking

Calling yourselves “[C]itizens for peace and justice on Guam” does
sound honorable and peaceful. What does not exist in your organization
is knowledge of the time in which we are living. We are living in a time that
regardless of what we do—as Guamanians and Americans— World War III
will happen.

Guamanians [in Guam] need to keep up with the situations in the Middle East, Russia,
and China. Iran is making moves to destroy, Israel, Britain, and the United States.
Russia is in the same playground with North Korea and China. This is biblical prophesy. Nuclear warfare is just around the corner. We should be more concerned with that than we should with the US’s involvement with our island.

Why are you so against America when she influenced our society? If Japan had won the Second World War what would Guam be like today? Would we be as free with Japan as we are with America today? Would our leaders today [in Guam] be Guamanians or would they
be Japanese?

Removing America’s influence in Guam will attract Japan’s. China may be attracted as well. The sad thing is…our leaders and our people do not have the strength or the knowledge to deter outside influences.

Guam should not look nor lean towards removal of American influence. Such a move will
only attract outside influences that will totally control Guam. Self-determination will only
raise internal problems; self- determination is a negative movement.
