The "Book of Jasher"
The Book of Jasher is a book that exposes the Book of
Genesis in
detail. An example is the story of Abram who,
at ten years of age,
went to Noah and Shem and lived with
them for thirty-nine years. They
taught him the ways of the Lord.
Could this be a reason for Abram’s faith and knowledge of God?
Have we
ever been taught that Abram’s faith was taught by
Noah and Shem who went
through the Great Flood that
destroyed all living beings and animals other than
those in the
ark?
Reading the Book of Jasher enlightens the Book of Genesis.
In the Books of Joshua
and II Samuel, the following statements
are mentioned:
"Is not this written in the Book of Jasher?"--Joshua, 10:13.
"Behold it is written in the Book of Jasher."--II Samuel, 1:18
Reading the Book of Jasher can enlighten one’s brain and soul and strengthen
Faith
in God and His Word. Genesis is the bible book of new beginnings. The
Hebrew word
is "re'shiythIt"---it means beginnings, first, or chief. It makes sense for the entire book of Genesis is about the creation of the heaven AND the earth... and then Adam (Aw-dawm).
