The "Book of Jasher" (...con't.)

This first book of the bible exposes the God of the heaven and the earth and
his dealings with all his creation. Reading the entire book exposes his
relationship with his chosen people…the Israelites. They are the 12 children
of Jacob.

The book has 50 chapters. It began with the creation of Adam and then the death of Joseph, the son of Jacob, who was the number two man in Egypt during the time of the seven-year famine that shook the countries surrounding her. There are numerous stories in Genesis that can boggle the mind. One can start with Cain killing his brother Abel. Why would he want to
shed his brother’s blood over sacrificial acceptance by his father Adam? Death never
occurred during their time and yet he did it. The incident in Genesis is blurry. The book of Jasher explained the incident in detail.

What about the time when God spoke to Abram and told him to “get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew (show) thee” and so “Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him.” Is this a common act to follow after living in a city for over forty years? Jasher is detailed as to Abram’s act to just get up
and go. Genesis ended with Joseph’s passing away. The book of Jasher, however,
continues the story of the Israelites in Egypt and their conquering of the people. There are
31 more chapters in Jasher after the death of Joseph.

Reading the book of Jasher will only clarify many questionable issues of Genesis.
The suggestion is…read Jasher. It will brighten up the book of Genesis.
